Frequently asked questions:
What ages are the people who attend classes at GLOW DANCE?
You will always feel like you belong, as ages range between 25 to 75.
What do I wear to class?
Comfortable clothes that move with you are perfect.
What type of shoes should I wear?
You are welcome to dance in fitness shoes or sneakers that provide support for your feet. Bare feet are an option for GROOVE DANCE. We ask that you do not wear shoes with hard soles.
Do I need to be able to dance already?
No you don’t, however a love of moving your body to music is helpful. There are classes available for all dance abilities, so you can find the perfect class for your level. If you have never danced before, look for classes labelled BEGINNER FRIENDLY, allowing you to start comfortably and build your skills step by step.
Do I need to be fit to do the class?
No you don’t. There are classes available for all fitness levels. You are encouraged to always go at your own pace and modify the intensity of the movement based on how it feels to you.
How do I find the Glow Dance studio?
Conveniently located in the heart of the North Fitzroy Village you can find us above the Post Office on Scotchmer Street. The access door to the studio is off Fergie Street.
What happens if I miss a class?
Your pass gives you access to 3 weeks of unlimited classes, simply book into another class during this time.
What happens if I get sick and can't come to classes?
If you are injured, or become unwell during your 3 week trial period, simply get in touch with us and we can place your pass on hold until you are able to return.
